In the memorial garden next to the Leeds Arms pub is a pinnacle from the Houses of Parliament, possibly removed during the 1902 repair.
The memorial gardens commemorate those who died serving their country. Sadly it was padlocked on the August 2003 day I took these photos; hopefully not because of the risk of vandalism.
