Like Kiveton and Laughton Common, Killamarsh had an estate of pre-fabricated post WW 2 houses. They’re built around steel frames with pre-cast concrete panels attached. Unlike those two places the ones here seem intact, well maintained, and still viable as housing, although it was said that they only had a design life of a few decades, and were a stop gap until ‘proper’ red brick houses could be built. Seen here on Rectory Road.
